Cream Cheese Jalapeno Popper with Bacon

INGREDIENTS

  • 6 Hugo Reitzel Whole Green Jalapenos
  • 3oz cream cheese
  • ¼ cup grated cheddar cheese
  • ¼ cup spring onion
  • 2 cloves chopped garlic
  • 1 tbsp chopped cilantro
  • ¼ cup pre- cooked bacon bits

  1. Slice length- wise, Hugo Reitzel Whole Green Jalapeno and de- seed them
  2. In a bowl, mash together, cream cheese, cheddar cheese, chopped spring onion, chopped garlic, chopped cilantro
  3. Spoon the mixture into the jalapeno halves and place them on lined baking sheet
  4. Top each jalapeno with teaspoon of bacon bit
  5. Bake for 15min in pre- heated oven at 400 degrees F, until the jalapenos soften and bacon edges are crispy
